The Daughter of Time

Do we die when we learn when we will die?

„Daughter of Time“ - втората книга от трилогията на Diane Schaer of an anti-utopian world where everyone knows how long they have to live, returns with a new question: what is the price of delayed truth?

A captivating, heartbreaking and unforgettable story about the anxious anticipation and the overwhelming struggle against time, about difficult decisions and unforgivable mistakes, about a mother's love and the freedom to live in the present.

While I was reading „Daughter of Time“, I felt like I was on a roller coaster - you hold on to the handles from the first moment and don't let go until the end, because the emotion has taken you over and you don't know what is up and what is down, what is true and what is a figment of your imagination. Every now and then you manage to catch your breath, to come to your senses, to make sense of the dizzying twists and turns, and then you close your eyes again to get over the rushing descent or launch that is to come.

There's that kid on the playground again.

His mother and father abandoned him,

when it was still a baby,

and some good people have decided to adopt him.

Some people are born twice.
