The Island of Butterflies

A captivating love story about a strong woman and a stubborn man in a charming Southern town with willful and opinionated residents.
The life of Laila Daly, a nurse in a Dallas emergency room, is marked by a tragic event. She is looking for a fresh start and decides to move to Papillon, a small picturesque town in Louisiana. But upon her arrival, she's in for a bunch of unpleasant surprises - she's met by an alligator on the road, and the doctor she bought the local clinic from hasn't warned or prepared patients for her arrival. But most irritating of all is the attractive sheriff, who fines her before she's even entered town.
Sheriff Armie Lavin likes routine and quiet. And though there's nothing peaceful about the town's newest resident, he's convinced she's the woman for him, and he's determined to win her heart. Which proves to be no easy task, as the young woman is completely focused on her work and her patients.
