For all who love Lovecraft, the sisters Bronte и Daphne du Maurier

A majestic house high in the mountains, cut off from the world. An impoverished young aristocrat with a murderous irresistible charm. A brave girl determined to uncover the secrets that have haunted the house's inhabitants for generations and threaten to destroy them and him.

Noemi is a well-liked young woman who has just joined the social life of the Mexican capital, enjoys the attention of men and dreams of studying anthropology. But when she receives a letter from her cousin Catalina, who has recently married, with the strange claim that her husband is trying to poison her, Noemi doesn't hesitate and heads for her home in the deep countryside of Mexico, where she confronts the dark past of her new family, Englishmen who once owned silver mines and untold wealth and influence.

Will Noemi resist the magnetic charm of the young master, the advances of his groggy father, the pull of the house itself, which invades her dreams with visions of blood, violence and doom and which, as she will soon find out, the young woman does not even have the strength to leave?
