The Pool

The new book of Angel G. Angelov „The Pool and Other Stories of Love“ spontaneously rearranges paradigms of meaning, challenging stereotypical notions of the loving experience of the world through the eyes of the other. Nameless, silent yet alive, the characters let the flow of inexorable time pass through them, straining their senses to the point of pain in order to hear and see beyond the impenetrable walls of existence. The narrator's gaze is often indiscrete to the traumatic liminal zones of human existence, as bodies agonize to explode the limits of the visible and, through the erotic, to objectify end and death.

In the book by Angel G. Angelov, the individual stories flow into each other in a common existential narrative that leads the reader to that moment when the absolute will be revealed, and the human from an insignificant particle of reality will become a sign from the „heavenly book“ of infinity.

The reader holds in his hands a book that takes him into new, unexplored literary spaces, where thrills and unexpected experiences await him...
