Torn Flesh

Even its title, „Torn Flesh,“ hints at secrets and pain, so be prepared to shiver—regardless of the temperature outside.

Three chilling investigations in frigid Aberdeen await their conclusions, and Logan MacRae finds himself at the center of a brutal game with unknown rules.

Aberdeen in February is gloomier and more forbidding than ever. A serial rapist roams the streets, leaving behind women with disfigured faces and scarred souls. But as he lies in wait for his next victim, the predator finds himself trapped.

This is just the beginning of a long night in Aberdeen. A young man is found unconscious outside the emergency room entrance, dying from severe blood loss. When it becomes clear that the deceased had been starring in BDSM porn films, Detective Sergeant Logan McRae must step into a brutal world with unfamiliar rules.

Meanwhile, an eight-year-old boy is terrorizing the city and putting the entire police force on high alert. After a shocking, bloody attack, the child begins a dangerous game of hide-and-seek with the investigators, and behind his ferocious rage lies a terrifying secret.

Logan finds himself caught between a rock and a hard place when his eccentric bosses are forced to work together to solve the cases. His personal life is once again on the verge of falling apart, and the clouds hanging over the city are only getting darker.
