Don't trust anyone

A shocking thriller in which students wrongly accused of murder embark on a dangerous hunt across Europe to uncover secrets hidden in a book written centuries ago.

Knowledge can be magic - until it falls into the wrong hands.

The ritual murder of a professor at the University of Exeter points to a startling group of suspects - his own students, participants in a program - dedicated to the history of witchcraft, folklore and spiritual traditions.

All the clues point to American student Sharon Carr. Before his death, the professor entrusted her with an old book with the command to keep it. The book is a manuscript, an encrypted diary of a famous eighteenth-century mystic and occultist, the Count of Saint-Germain. The professor implores Sharon to preserve the text, ending with a warning.

Trust no one.

Sharon and her colleagues are hunted down by law enforcement and a powerful secret organisation. In a chase across Europe, from the Tower of London to a Paris-area mansion to a fortress in the Italian Alps, Sharon must learn the true secret hidden in the text of Saint-Germain. That secret will send her and the others through history and deep into the heart of one of the world's greatest mysteries, hidden in the roots of Western civilization-a discovery that could change humanity forever.

For what lies at the end of Saint-Germain's diary is as shocking as his opening words, „Here lies the secret of my immortality. Come and find me, if you dare“.
