The End of Childhood

They came from the stars!

Humanity is just taking its first tentative steps into space when the unthinkable happens. Huge, silvery ships emerge from deep space and hover over Earth’s largest cities. One of the oldest questions in history is finally answered—we are not alone.

Intellectually, technologically, and militarily superior to humanity, the Overlords set several simple conditions for us—to unify Earth, eliminate poverty, and put an end to war. Since we have no choice, we agree.

And a new Golden Age is dawning on Earth.

Robotics and computers are advancing to such an extent that people practically don't have to work. Everyone has the freedom to learn new things, enjoy their time, and develop without limitations. Crime, violence, and the very idea of competition are becoming a thing of the past.

But at what cost? The rise of human civilization leads to stagnation. Humanity stops striving to create and increasingly succumbs to idleness. For those who do not blindly obey the Overlords, one thing is clear—they have a purpose.

Но тя краят на човечеството ли е... или началото?
