School for good and evil

The first kidnappings happened two hundred years ago. Some years two boys were taken, some years two girls, sometimes one of each. But if at first the choice seemed arbitrary, people soon established a certain pattern. One was always the beautiful and good child that every parent would like to have. The other was strange and ugly, rejected by everyone from birth. An opposite pair, chosen from among all the youngsters and kidnapped.

Sophie and her best friend Agatha are about to find out where the lost children are going: the legendary School for good and evil, where ordinary boys and girls train to become the heroes and villains of fairy tales. Sophie - the most beautiful girl in Gavaldon - has always dreamed of being kidnapped and sent to her own magical fairy tale. With her pink dresses, glass slippers and dedication to good deeds, she knows she will win the hearts of everyone at the School for Good like a true princess. Agatha, on the other hand, with her shapeless black robes, killer cat, and overall hatred of humans seems perfect for the School for Evil.

But when the two girls are kidnapped and sent to the Endless Forest, their fates are reversed - Sophie is thrown into the School for Evil, where she must study the Threat, the Death Curses and the History of Villainy, while Agatha must seek her place in the School for Good among handsome princes and lovely maidens who talk to animals and think only of finding true love's kiss. But what if making a mistake is the first step to the two girls discovering who they really are?

„The School for Good and Evil“ is an epic journey into the world of fairytale characters we think we know - a world that hides dark corners and terrifying secrets. And the only way to escape magical fairy tales... is to live them.
