The Misty Lake

A few decades ago, an incident occurred in the town of Fog Lake. An explosion occurs in a nearby cave system, releasing dangerous gases. The residents sleep for a full forty-eight hours. And when they wake up, they discover that nothing is the same anymore. Some have visions. Others hear eerie voices. But no one suspects that these anomalies will be passed on to future generations...

Catalina Lark and Olivia LeClair are best friends and have an investigative law firm in Seattle. They use their „other sight“ to solve cases. When Olivia goes missing, Catalina begins a search for her friend. No one takes the disappearance seriously except Slater Arganbright, an agent with the secret organization known as the Foundation. He shows up at her office with a cryptic warning and an aura that draws Catalina in, but also one she can't fully trust. The two learn that a ruthless killer is on the trail of the only witnesses to a crime committed in the caves of Fog Lake fifteen years ago. The witnesses are Catalina and Olivia. And someone wants them gone.
