Bojana

Step quietly among the bygone times of the young Bulgarian state, when the awakened Bulgarian spirit resolutely builds its future. Against the backdrop of momentous historical events, a beautiful love will blossom amidst stirring descriptions of personal struggles, brave hearts, deep soulful aspirations and fervent defense of ideals.

Bojana is originally from a small mountain village on the outskirts of the capital. Curious and awake since childhood, after many vicissitudes she finds space for her dreams in the capital, where a lost book meets her love. Stefan is highly educated and enterprising, he takes an active part in the progress of the capital, and his heart, which has hitherto remained indifferent to temptation, finds itself irresistibly drawn to the innocent peasant girl, who not only stands out from the city's vanity, but also captivates him with her willful mountain pride.

Many obstacles stand in the way of the young. Bojana's father, angry at God for taking his beloved away early, is deeply rooted in the past, the established ways and the village life, and looks with dislike at the new times saturated with changes. And it is good to have his mother Elena, the guardian of the family hearth and of faith, who with a sensitive heart and life wisdom is not only like a mother to Bojana, but is also her steadfast support in her quest to find happiness.

Amidst all this, a young pine unheard speaks to the human soul and quietly tucks away the memories of the family whose home it guards.
